This was my first ever environment design project, which I did for my application portfolio for The Animation Workshop's Computer Graphic Arts bachelor programme in 2023.
Often decorated with plants, carpets and silks from the city’s many marketplaces, these sandstone homes offer warmth, colour to plenty of visual interest. The tinted windows cast light that diffuses and softens by the sandy air, creating a dreamy, almost magical ambiance.
In these homes, I imagined you'd find various brass trinkets, including decorative plates, teapots, figurines and lamps. Some of the most popular items would also include ornate vases and intricate boxes perfect for storing gems and other small treasures.
