Star Wars | Mad Sith Concept

I created this Sith concept for the "Mad King" project at The Animation Workshop, where I was given a plain mesh of a head with a wild facial expression (see below). From that, I modelled a cloak, lightsaber, and some piercings, and added lights. The rest I took into Substance Painter for painting and texturing.

The design is heavily inspired by the Star Wars universe's Dathomirian Zabrak males, known as the Nightbrothers. They are usually identifiable by the distinct markings on their skin, as well as a crown of horns which I excluded from this design. The yellow lightsaber instead of red was a conscious choice.

The exercise was a great experience and I learned a lot, I'm happy with the results.

Below is a side-by-side with the modelled vs textured product.
